Ashley Johnson, MEd, LPC (Accepting New Clients Soon!)

If you’ve found yourself here, you’re likely searching for something — clarity, peace, happiness, support, or maybe even the freedom to finally explore who you truly are. Many of us feel pressured to seem like we have it all together, even when we’re fighting an internal battle. The truth is, you don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
I admire the strength it takes to acknowledge your pain and seek support for yourself. I provide individual therapy to adolescents, young adults, and adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, substance use struggles, and difficulties within relationships. My approach centers on meeting you where you are in your healing journey. I recognize how trauma and the systems we exist in influence our emotional experiences — and I hold space for all of it.
As we build trust, vulnerability becomes possible — and from that vulnerability, real healing and growth can emerge. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we can uncover the next steps that feel right for you. I’m passionate about working with diverse clients and value fostering a culturally aware environment tailored to your needs. You deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Your healing starts here — let’s create a space for you to find clarity, resilience, and healing.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my undergraduate degree in Child and Family Development from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008, followed by my master’s in Counseling in 2014. Additionally, I completed a second master’s degree in Psychology in 2021, further deepening my understanding of human behavior and healing. I’m currently completing my PhD in psychology and working on my dissertation.
