I discovered long ago that I am passionate about helping people become the best versions of themselves. That process is often a journey, and all journeys must start somewhere. I am committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where you feel supported in becoming your best self.
I've worked in private practice and in the public-school setting. I have experience helping individuals and families with a wide range of issues, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger, teen-related concerns, emotional regulation, relationship issues, parenting, trauma, grief, and more. I provide counseling services to children (4+), adolescents, adults, and families.
I use a variety of techniques, depending on the client, their history, and their current goals. My approach is client-centered, and I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored specifically to each client's needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
I received my Bachelor's degree in 2013 from University of Houston- Clear Lake and Master's degree in 2020 from University of Texas at Tyler. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
