Jessica Cochran, MS, LPC
I feel strongly that every person is capable of the change they desire. My number one goal as a therapist is for individuals to feel truly heard and understood. Together, we can address whatever struggles or concerns you’re facing, whether that includes anxiety, depression, substance use or addiction recovery, LGBTQ+ concerns, grief, life stressors, or trauma. I’ll meet you where you are and work with you to find meaningful solutions.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults, and have experience supporting clients with a wide range of other concerns, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, PTSD, panic attacks, OCD, and divorce or blended-family dynamics. My therapeutic approach includes using techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, depending on what will best support you.
My clinical background includes experience in diverse settings such as a university counseling center, community-based agencies, a substance use and addiction recovery program, and a correctional facility. These experiences have deepened my respect for people’s resilience and the many paths that can create space for healing no matter the setting or circumstance.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University at Kingsville and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
I genuinely love celebrating my client’s wins, big or small, and would be honored to assist you in any way that I can.
