Change can be unfamiliar, scary, and difficult. However, the therapeutic process can be life changing as you gain a better understanding of yourself. I believe in meeting each individual where they are to provide a safe and supportive environment where we can build a valuable therapeutic relationship. Through the development of the therapeutic relationship, we will work together to understand your thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and choices so you can experience growth and healing. Reach out now to start making your desired changes.
My specialty areas include the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, spirituality, crisis intervention, and women’s issues in individuals 12 years and older. I utilize many modalities of therapy, depending on your needs, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I completed my bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M in 2000 and my graduate training at Houston Baptist University in 2007. I have a broad spectrum of experience working in both community mental health, hospital, and outpatient settings with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
